Kumo is a beautiful atmospheric story about A young boy looking for a second chance at life, Solo developed over currently 18 months. Play as a Kumo a young boy trapped in a world of limbo forced to solve puzzles, discover secrets and keep his will and determination searching for his parents and finding his way back home.

Benjamin Gregg, A professional freelance environment and stylized artist from multiple independent studios, Sets out to create a beautiful and emotional tale that will make you choke and smile with hope, Influenced by RIME, Journey and Disney plans to release his first commercial game. If Kumo’s Kickstarter campaign is fully succesful on steam January 2020 aswell as Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC/MAC which will also be localized into 5 languages; English, Finnish, Swedish, German and Spanish

What is your first gaming experience?

When I was 2 I used to play sonic the hedgehog 2 on the Megadrive with my brother Obviously I played as Tails.

What got you into creating games?

I started developing games on Newgrounds and sites like Byond as a way to escape and really tell my stories.

What development tools or coding did you use?

I have always used Unreal engine, unity, Flash, photoshop, Zbrush, Autodesk Maya and 3ds max

What hurdles did you have making your current game?

The biggest hurdle was to be able to tell a story Visually with 0 dialogue as well as making the mechanics of the game seem fun and interesting

After the completion of the game what game will you make?

I have an idea of what the next game will be but I won’t disclose that as of right now.

What other games have you made you made?

I worked on numerous Indie games in the past as an environmental artist but never they really took off, apart from interning at Ubisoft and EA that’s about it

My favourite computer was my Amiga and console the Megadrive do you have a favourite?

I always built my own computers, I started this from around 3-4 years old But my all-time favorite Console is going to be the same, easily the Megadrive

What is your favourite retro game?

Going to have to say as difficult as it is to choose, Sonic 2

Do you still game on the current consoles if so what’s your favourite game?

Oh I still make time to play games especially with my daughter, I play a lot of RPG’s but currently, I am replaying Kingdom hearts the entire series

Whats the worst game you have ever played?

Honestly, I cannot say, though there are some bad games out there I couldn’t name the worst one.
